Personal Branding Session | Ellen Imaging
More about Personal Branding Sessions…
In my last blog post on personal branding, I shared a brief overview of what the difference between a head shot session and a personal branding session was, why branding is important, and why personal branding is even more important.
I want to dive in to the core of personal branding with this post. Personal branding is your potential clients first impression of you. It is the first step you take in building a relationship with your client without ever speaking to them. Is your website cohesive or all over the place? Is the message you are sending your potential clients clear? By the time they reach your contact form, have you began to create a rapport with your potential clients?
My goal with each personal branding session is to dig deep into the why you chose your profession so that I can accurately portray your passion for your craft to your clients. I want to arm you with marketing images that not only attract your ideal clients but speak to them. I want them to feel like that know you and trust you. Get a look into a small sample of what you will get with Ellen’s gallery.
Ellen Talbot is a wedding and portrait photographer based out of Mobile, Alabama serving the Gulf Coast. Her husband gifted her a Canon Rebel the first Christmas they were married and she says the rest is history. In April 2014, the opportunity to grow this passion into a business presented itself. She has been working as a teacher a while photography has been her side hustle. As of May 2018, she is a full time photographer.
She firmly believes that God has gifted her with a talent for story telling, from getting married to having babies or just documenting milestones. The most important part of photography to her is building relationships with her clients.
Thank you Ellen for the opportunity, I an honored another photographer trusted me to help build their brand.
This session was definitely challenging but so rewarding. I had to step out of my own box as a photographer and step into Ellen’s. I got to understand Ellen’s why and the how, which are two important components to photography. She was so easy and great to work with. I am honored that she braved the South Alabama humidity and heat to roam the beautiful Spring Hill College campus with me to create images that fit perfectly with her brand. We started at the Avenue of the Oak and the Stewartfield House and ended up at St. Joseph’s Chapel’s gardens.
Personal branding combines two things that I am crazy passionate about: photography and supporting others. I am a member of The Rising Tide Society A community who believes in supporting each other with the motto of community over competition. Seeing others succeed makes my heart happy, helping others succeed is just the cherry on top!
