Oh, Leng and Heather! This wedding day was so special to me because Leng and Heather are very good friends of mine. Being able to photograph their Venue at Dawe’s wedding day was extra special because they’re such sweet people. They tied the knot on 11/7/2017, which has a lot of luck associated with it in Leng’s Cambodian heritage. Ones, sevens, patterns, and odd numbers are all lucky!

Leng and Heather’s wedding was simple and sweet, but so perfect. Family matters a lot to these two and that was obvious throughout their whole day. Their little boy, Greyson, was front and center for his parents’ special day. Just wait until you see the photo of him enjoying some cake!! Leng and Heather filled their intimate bridal party with family and childhood friends. With a small number of guests and the backyard vibe of the Venue at Dawes, their day felt extra special. It was such an honor to be present!
The newlyweds had an outdoor ceremony. Heather was walked into the ceremony by her mother and the officiant who married them has known Leng since he was little. It really was a celebration of family and friends! Leng’s co-workers even showed up in uniform from the Mobile Police Department for the ceremony too! It was pretty cool. After their ceremony, it was time to enjoy the evening. With an outdoor reception and cake cutting, everyone had fun partying the night away celebrating Leng and Heather’s new marriage!
Heather and Leng, I couldn’t be more happy for you! Congratulations. I wish you a lifetime of happiness and love and I’m so happy I could be with you to celebrate!
